Airport

Graz Airport is located around 10 km south of the Hotel Strasser. It is located directly on the A2 (Süd-Autobahn) and A9 (Pyhrn Autobahn) and is optimally connected to public transport. This is the best way to reach the Hotel Strasser:

• Car: Follow Triester Straße (B67) straight ahead in the direction of Graz; the B67 changes into Lazarettgürtel and then into Eggenberger Gürtel.

• S-Bahn: The S5 is approx. 300 m and a few minutes’ walk from the terminal. It will take you to Graz Central Station within 12 minutes. From there it is only a short walk to the Hotel Strasser. Costs: € 2.50

Arriving by car

Both the A2 and the A9 exits are only a 10-minute drive away from us. No matter which direction you are come from: all roads lead to the Hotel Strasser.

Arriving by train

Getting to a hotel has rarely been more convenient: Graz Central Station is only a 3-minute walk from the Strasser. Information on tickets and departure times can be found at www.oebb.at/en/ (Austrian Federal Railways).

Cancellation conditions

Maximum flexibility: cancel your booking free of charge by 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you do not show up, a no-show fee of 100 % of the arrangement price will apply. However, only if we cannot sublet the room to other guests.

For reservations of more than five rooms as well as for special offers or special prices, the respective cancellation times and conditions apply.

Check-in

Your room is available for you from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. Please note that an official photo ID (passport, identity card) is required upon check-in.

Are you arriving after 6 p.m.? Please let us know as soon as possible. If we do not receive any notice from you about a late arrival, we are entitled to rent the booked rooms to other guests from 6 pm.

Check-out

On the day of departure, your room is available until 11:00 a.m. Do you want to enjoy your little kingdom a little longer? No problem. Late departure is is possible until 2 p.m. and subject to availability and at an additional charge of € 22.00 per room. Simply contact the Strasser reception.

Express check-out: settle your bill the day before departure. In the morning all you have to do is hand in your room card.

Late departure

Is the bed too comfortable to get up early? Simply stay longer. Depending on the availability of the room, that’s possible until 2:00 p.m.
Costs: € 22,- per night and room.

Payment methods

We accept cash (euros), Master Card, VISA, American Express, ATM and Maestro cards to settle your bills.

Air conditioner

Sleep instead of sweat: look forward to your comfortable room temperature all year round. Each room is equipped with an individually adjustable air conditioning unit on the wall.

Coffee & Tea

To start your day twice as nice, coffee and tea are available in your room free of charge.

Flowers

For flowery moments at the Hotel Strasser: Have your room decorated with flowers or order a bouquet for your loved one. You wish, we organize. Please let us know at least one working day in advance.

Pets

Pets are welcome at the Hotel Strasser. The additional fee for your cat or dog arises from the increased cleaning effort and amounts to € 10.- per pet and night. Please bring your own food for your four-legged friend.

Pillow selection

Is your pillow too high, too small, too soft, too hard? From bolster to millet and spelt pillows: We have a selection of different pillows for you. There are also warm blankets in case you need one. Simply contact the reception.

Room key

On arrival you will receive your room key in the form of a keycard. As soon as it’s inserted into the card holder next to the entrance door, it also activates the electricity in the room. Please keep the card in a safe place and hand it in at reception on departure.

Would you like to charge electronic devices in your absence? We will be happy to issue you a second keycard.

Accessibility

Not much has changed in terms of accessibility at the Hotel Strasser since 1900. One thing, however, is: there is an elevator that takes you to all floors. Please note, however, that the hotel can only be reached via stairs with three steps.

The Strasser Bar is open for you 24/7. Lean back on the soft cushions in the lobby lounge, enjoy a refreshing drink or a stimulating coffee and chat with the reception team. We look forward to you.

Breakfast to go: Do you have to catch an early train, have a long onward journey ahead of you or simply prefer to have breakfast in the fresh air? We would be happy to prepare your “breakfast to go”. It will be ready from 6:00 a.m. Please let us know by 10:00 p.m. the evening before.

Clothes steamer

Need to steam your clothes? The suitable tool is available on request for a deposit of € 30.- for the duration of your stay. Contact our reception and we will bring it to your room.

Copy, print, scan

Would you like to copy, print or scan a document? Simply contact the Strasser reception. For a photocopy we charge € 0.40 per A4 page. Only black and white copies are possible.

Forgotten something

Forgot an important utensil at home? No problem. If you need sewing set, shaving set, oral hygiene set, comb, women’s hygiene items, simply contact the Strasser reception. This service is free of charge and available at any time.

Internet / WiFi

High-speed WiFi is always available free of charge throughout the hotel. The password is ‘Graz’.

Smoking

The Strasser is a non-smoking hotel. Thank you for your consideration for other guests. We kindly point out that in the event of a violation, a fee for additional cleaning from € 150.- will be charged. If a smoke alarm is triggered, and a fire brigade is deployed, the charge will be passed on to you.

Sockets

The sockets are compatible with the Euro plug (type C), commonly used in Europe. The normal voltage is 220 volts alternating current. If you need multiple plugs, please contact the reception.

Tap water

The tap water in our region is of drinking water quality - enjoy it.

Washcloth

You forgot your washcloth at home? No problem. We have some samples ready for you at the reception.

The nearest ATMs are just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Bike rental

Rolling through the alleys of Graz by bike or e-bike is almost more fun than walking. Rent your set of wheels for € 14.- per day. There are several bike shops in the immediate vicinity - e.g. BICYCLE rental at Graz Central Station. We are happy to assist you at reception for further recommendations.

Garage

If you have problems with your car, there are several garages in the immediate vicinity. E.g.

• KFZ-Werkstatt Bagola-Bichler: 1 minute drive away

Laundry

The next laundromat is only a 15-minute walk away: Waschsalon Graz, Griesplatz 2. At the reception we have some laundry bags available for transporting. Feel free to ask for them at any time.

Supermarket

Choose from a large number of supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. The closest is Billa Plus and is only a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. Otherwise there are Spar and Hofer directly at the main train station.
